The people of India (and other places in the world) like honking or blowing the horn of their vehicle on the road for the smallest of reasons. Blowing horn not only creates major noise pollution but also a lot of mental stress for the people on the streets. In India, some vehicles (such as trucks) even encourage other drivers to honk by writing on their back "Blow Horn" or "Horn is Ok".
